The Tunisian American Enterprise Fund (TAEF) Fellows is a unique internship program launched in 2017 specifically for students interested in supporting SME (small and medium enterprises) growth in Tunisia. It is designed to nurture the next generation of entrepreneurs and business people while providing talented interns to TAEF investees to work on pre-selected, intensive projects.

Am I eligible ?

The following are the eligibility requirements :

  • At least 20 years old
  • A bachelor or a master degree student
  • Open to Tunisian and non-Tunisian students

What Happens next?
Deadline to receive applications
Before May 15th 2017
  • Selected candidates will be notified by email.
  • Scheduling of interview dates will follow, also by email.
    • First round interviews by phone.
    • Second round interviews will be in person with TAEF and the selected company.
  • Final selection of Fellows will be made before May 31st
  • Candidates who are not selected will also be informed by May 31st

  • June 26 : Start of the Training @ TAEF Tunis office
  • June 28 : Start Fellowship placement at company
  • September 1 : last day of internship – Fellows gathering, debrief and closing ceremony at TAEF’s Tunis offices.

  • Each Fellow will be assigned to a specific project in a selected company and will report to a manager there
  • TAEF will pay each Fellow a stipend of 800 TND for the two-month period.
  • Fellows will be required to write a brief report on the experience, on what you have learned and on your contribution in the company during your internship.
  • It is possible that companies may want to offer employment to Fellows.
  • Concerning the second Fellows program,we will post all information about our Fellows Program on our website, on social networks and at selected schools.
  • If this program is successful, we may expand the Fellows program to include additional students, companies, schools and possibly for periods of throughout the year (not only during the summer).
