Project Overview:
As part of the LOGIS team, the data science intern will focus on developing advanced scraping algorithms to extract real estate data from multiple online sources and integrate it into our CRM. The goal is to enrich the existing dataset with accurate and comprehensive information, helping our agents make data-driven decisions and provide better service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize web scraping tools to extract real estate listings, market trends, and competitor data.
  • Clean, transform, and enrich the extracted data for use within the CRM.
  • Work with the existing MySQL database to match and link new data with the existing records.
  • Analyze the data to provide insights such as price trends, property availability, and buyer preferences.
  • Collaborate with developers and data engineers to ensure the data pipelines are robust and scalable.
  • Present data visualization and insights to the management team for strategy alignment.

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in Python, with experience in web scraping frameworks (e.g., BeautifulSoup, Scrapy).
  • Knowledge of data cleaning and manipulation techniques (Pandas, NumPy).
  • Experience with databases (MySQL preferred).
  • Understanding of real estate market dynamics is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.

Educational Background:

  • Final-year student in Data Science, Machine Learning, or related fields.
