Khouloud Ben Aziza- Equity research analyst at ODDO BHF

Hi! My name is Khouloud Ben Aziza and I am an equity research analyst at ODDO BHF.

I graduated from The Higher Institute of Commercial Studies – Carthage (IHEC) with a master’s in financial Analysis.

After getting my Baccalaureate in Mathematics at the Pioneer High School of Bourguiba Tunis, I had no idea about the university I wanted to join. So I decided to start this thrilling quest of discovering myself and finding my own passion. I ended up going to ISCAE Manouba to study Business Management and as I learned more about marketing, management, and entrepreneurship my passion for business studies grew more.

I also joined the Tunivisions Club ISCAE first as a member of the logistics department and later as a Vice president. We held the first 3 forums ever in our university, collaborated with the 4C ISCAE, and organized a lot of other events to help college students be more adequate to the professional world.

The next year, I moved to The Higher Institute of Commercial Studies Carthage. There, I got to be part of the Hec Model of the United Nations and it was an eye-opening experience on how young people can practice diplomacy and learn to correctly debate global matters, and I also got to practice Marketing and communication as an active member in the department.

In the summer of the same year, I enrolled the TAEF program and started a new journey at Flat6Labs Tunis as a Marketing intern. I worked there for almost 7 months, and it was a life-changing experience for me.

Not only did I get the opportunity to learn more about Marketing and Entrepreneurship but also, I got the chance to be surrounded by people who shared the same passion as me and to work with an amazing inspiring team. There, I found out that I really like working in Marketing, but I also grew more curious about the world of finance and investing as we worked alongside the ANAVA fund. So, I knew had to learn more about it.

That led me to choose to intern at a broker for my end of studies project and I wrote my thesis about the valuation of biotechnology companies. Now, here I am working as a junior analyst in financial markets at Oddo BHF.

I am so grateful that I got to try a lot of fields and I do not regret any of my choices, it was such an enriching experience that made me who I am today.

Outside work, I am passionate about sport, traveling, cooking and photography.
