Hello! I am Wassim Ben Chiekh,

Senior at Tunis Business School

“Success is not final; failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts.”
Winston S. Churchill

Greetings! I’m Wassim Ibn Chikh, a Tunis Business School (TBS) graduate, where I majored in Finance and minored in Information Technology. My journey into the world of business began during my high school years when I became captivated by the field. Upon discovering TBS, I set my sights on joining, and in 2017, I achieved that goal.

During my time at TBS, I embraced opportunities for personal and professional growth. I immersed myself in extracurricular activities, notably joining the R&D department of ATLAS CLUB TBS and participating in the Hult Prize TBS 2018, which, despite not clinching victory, remains a cherished experience.

Driven by a desire to give back to my community, I became involved with ATAB, an art and theater association in my village. Together with a dedicated team, we organized the inaugural summer festival, a project close to my heart. Concurrently, I took on the role of treasurer at JCI Bennane, further honing my organizational and leadership skills.

In my pursuit of well-rounded development, I delved into technical expertise through a Forex trading training with FinLabs and completed an online financial analysis course on Udemy.

Professionally, I embarked on an internship at CFE (Centre Financier aux Entrepreneurs) Tunisia as part of the TAEF Fellow Program. Additionally, I ventured into freelance translation work on Fiverr.

Each experience over the past three years has stretched my boundaries, fostering invaluable lessons in collaboration, communication, and the importance of surrounding oneself with motivated peers.

Since graduating from TBS in 2021, my career has taken exciting turns. I served as an account manager at La Banque de Tunisie from December 2021 to June 2022. Subsequently, I earned a scholarship to pursue a Master’s in Finance at Corvinus University of Budapest, where I currently find myself in the final year. Alongside my studies, I’ve been contributing as a part-time Analyst at BlackRock since May 2023.

These diverse experiences have shaped me into a dynamic professional, eager to tackle new challenges and continue growing in the world of Finance.
