Hello! I am Ahmed Hajjem,

Computer Science - ISTIC

“If you are not willing to be a fool, you can't become a master.” ― Jordan B. Peterson

Ahmed Hajjem 20 years old, a first-year ISTIC computer science student, and an enthusiast of quantum computing.

I have always been fascinated by computers and have wanted to learn more about them. When I was 12 years old, I enrolled in my first online course and have been interested in learning more ever since. However, at the time, I wasn’t completely aware of how much the world could be improved by them.

I was introduced to the entrepreneurial Ecosystem while pursuing my bachelor’s degree in mathematics at SADIKI High School, and it sparked that I could use my computing abilities to create solutions and have an effect.

I began working with the spark club ISG Tunis in 2018 and started to learn how to turn an idea into a business.

Since then, I have launched several businesses with a variety of partners; most of them have failed, but a few have been successful. I continue to search for innovative ideas for my projects.

Parallel to my new interest, I continued developing my programming abilities. In 2019, I enrolled in an android development course at Orange developer center. I began studying quantum computing in 2020 and finished the year-long IBM course “introduction to quantum computing”; since then, I have participated in a number of physics organizations, the Qworld team, and Qtunisia.

I participated in the OSTX program in 2021 and was able to work with my team to launch Trady, a platform for learning and starting trading in Tunisia. It was also my introduction to the flutter development community.

And in 2022, I completed two internships, the first with Qworld (“Qintern”), where I worked with a team to build a quantum system that uses machine learning and quantum algorithms to determine food quality, and the second with MON RESTO developing of mobile and web applications for food delivery, thanks to TAEF. Now that I’ve been selected to be a part in the TAEF Fellows program, I’m happy to be a part of it because it will allow me to improve my abilities and be around professionals so that I may get more experience and be more prepared for my future job.
