Business student -Tunis Business School
I’m Aya Ouhichi, a business student at Tunis Business School, specializing in Business Analytics. My journey in the world of business has been both dynamic and rewarding, fueled by my passion for data-driven decision-making and strategic analysis. Working as an Investment Analyst at Flat6Labs, where I assess the viability of startups and provide key recommendations, I’ve always sought to make sense of data in ways that drive tangible results.
This opportunity I had thanks to TAEF have allowed me to explore the intersection of finance and data, and it strengthened my understanding of how data informs investment decisions and business strategies. The exchange year at the University of South Dakota, where I majored in Computer Science, played a pivotal role in sharpening my analytical skills, blending technical proficiency with business acumen.
Yet, my curiosity extends beyond the world of numbers and finance. I have a deep passion for international relations, which has significantly enriched my perspective and global understanding. Attending the European Forum Alpbach as a scholarship holder introduced me to world-class discussions on global economics, diplomacy, and sustainability. My participation in international forums, such as ISFIT in Norway and ISWI in Germany, fostered my passion for cross-cultural collaboration, while my role as a Media Ambassador for the AEMS program in Vienna allowed me to advocate for alternative economic systems that promote sustainability and innovation.
These diverse experiences not only broadened my worldview but also taught me the importance of merging finance with a broader understanding of global challenges. As I continue to navigate the realms of business and finance, I remain deeply committed to integrating international perspectives, fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration, and finding solutions that resonate on a global scale.
