Hello! I am Mouna Chermiti, Placement Broker at Marsh McLennan Companies

My higher education path started in 2016 at the Higher Institute of Management of Tunis (ISG Tunis) where I completed my bachelor’s degree in finance and graduated in 2019. After my graduation, I joined the TAEF community through its fellows program. As part of the program, I joined Centre Financier Aux Entrepreneurs’ (CFE) as an intern with Risk and Compliance department.

The team was really helpful and supportive, and the overall experience was insightful and very beneficial. Further to that, I decided to deep dive into the field of Risk Management and I got back to the university seat to pursue a master’s degree in Risk Management at ISG and I graduated in 2021. Later on, I joined Marsh Tunisia (a business of Marsh McLennan group, a global leader in insurance broking and risk management) as part of Marsh MENA Graduate Training Program, an intensive 18- month learning path designed to develop the next generation of risk management leaders.

Now, I act as a Placement Broker looking over reinsurance placements in North and Western Africa region where I handle diverse lines of business. In my role, I am responsible for assisting Marsh’s clients in tailoring the best insurance solutions and the placement of their risks within international
reinsurance markets in collaboration with Marsh’s global hubs.
