Business Analytics & International Business Economics Student - TBS
Hello! I am Slim Mejdoub – Business Analytics & International Business Economics Student at TBS
My name is Slim. I am a person who has always been thirsty for new experiences and eager to lead and make an impact. My journey began since my high school years when I was selected to coach groups of young mentees within the First Skills Club association. This organization provided me with a supportive environment that fosters growth and encourages creativity and innovation. Throughout my years as a coach, I developed strong leadership and communication skills that allowed me to win a scholarship to study Business & Leadership in a 2-week summer program in Oxford, UK in 2018. That opportunity ignited my interest in Business and drove me to choose Tunis Business School as my undergraduate school upon my graduation from high education in 2020.
During my two years at TBS, I immersed myself in a myriad of enriching experiences varying from Model United Nations simulations to entrepreneurship hackathons. I joined the TIMUN club where I invested time sharpening public speaking, negotiation, and academic writing skills. I was an active member in the Marketing & Communication department where I animated an online video series on global politics called “Khobbila”. In the following year, I led that department for 3 months and developed a better leader within myself. Participating in entrepreneurship competitions such as Hult Prize is another highlight of my TBS experience. I love brainstorming ideas that solve community problems and make impact. Bringing those ideas to real life requires a tedious process that I enjoyed and decided to take a closer look at via a summer internship.
I was lucky enough to be part of the TAEF’s Fellows Program as a Marketing intern in Flat6Labs, the biggest startup accelerator in the MENA region. I had the pleasure to work with incredible and friendly people from whom I gained valuable insights into different fields. The internship also exposed me to a wide network of startups, experts, and ecosystem actors. I am really grateful for my summer experience and encourage passionate students to join the program!
I am currently an intern at Business and Management Consulting intern at Pearls Consulting Company.
