Software engineering student -ENSIT
I’m Hentati Syrine, a third-year software engineering student at theHigher National School of Engineers of Tunis. My journey into engineering really started at the Preparatory Institute of Sfax, where I specialized in physics and chemistry. That experience, while challenging, was incredibly transformative. It shaped my ability to stay patient, resilient, and manage stress effectively. Most importantly, it taught me that with focus and consistent effort, great progress is always within reach.
After transitioning to ENSIT as a software engineering student, it was a big shift for me. I moved from a competitive environment where everything was focused heavily on exams to a place where teamwork and the freedom to pursue my own projects are highly valued. It’s been exciting to explore my own path, choose what projects I’m passionate about, and take control of my career direction. Yet, I have the responsibility to maintain my focus, as the many options can be distracting. It’s tempting to start new projects and leave them unfinished, but I’m committed to staying on course. My approach is to focus on the task at hand, learn from it, complete it, and then embrace new opportunities.
I’m incredibly grateful to TAEF for giving me the opportunity to secure an internship at SeekMake. The company environment was incredibly motivating. Everyone was professional and supportive, well-qualified, and created a positive and collaborative atmosphere. I appreciated how each person pushed themselves and others to do their best. This experience provided a valuable opportunity to immerse myself in professional work and develop my skills, and I’m excited to continue growing with everything I’ve learned.
