Quote:“Opportunities don’t happen. You create them.” – Chris Grosser

I’m Malek Gharbi, a Business Administration student at Tunis Business School, currently in my sophomore year. My academic journey has been shaped by curiosity, leadership, and a passion for creating impact, driving me to pursue opportunities that challenge me and broaden my horizons.

During my freshman year, I engaged in leadership and international relations simulations through my participation in the Department of Project Management and External Relations at the Model World Trade Organization (MWTO), as well as simulations at the Tunisian International Model United Nations (TIMUN TBS). These experiences deepened my interest in diplomacy and international relations, while allowing me to strengthen my skills in negotiation, communication, and project management.

At the end of my freshman year, I interned at Finbudd, a Tunisian startup specializing in financial certification exam preparation, through the TAEF Fellows Program. As a Sales Intern, I supported growth initiatives, built email marketing processes from the ground up, conducted in-depth research to identify potential customers, and contributed to developing scalable processes for long-term growth. This experience enhanced my analytical thinking, strategic execution, and attention to detail, while providing valuable exposure to the education and finance sectors.

I am deeply grateful to the TAEF Fellows Program for this opportunity, which has been instrumental in shaping my personal and professional growth and inspiring me to pursue my passion for business, technology, and international relations to drive innovation and sustainable development within Tunisia and on the global stage .
