Software engineering student - ISIMS
I’m Ghaith Mbarki, a software engineering student at ISIMS in Sfax, passionate about artificial intelligence, web technologies, and creating tools that solve meaningful problems.
Through the TAEF Fellows Program, I recently completed an internship at Optimalogistic, where I developed an AI-powered chatbot to support shipping operations. The project gave me hands-on experience with natural language understanding, system integration, and the challenge of turning business needs into practical AI solutions.
Alongside my interest in AI, I have worked on the web from multiple angles — from backend systems to user-focused design. One project I’m especially proud of is HTTP Workbench, an application I built to simplify and streamline HTTP requests for developers. It represents my goal of creating tools that are both technically solid and genuinely useful.
I am thankful to the TAEF Fellows Program for opening the door to valuable professional experience. Looking ahead, I want to keep exploring the intersection of AI and human-centered design, working on technology that is intelligent, impactful, and accessible.
