Software Engineering Student - INSAT
I am Bochra Saffar, Software Engineering student at the National Institute of Applied Science and Technology (INSAT)
After I had a Baccalaureate in Mathematics at the Pioneer High School of Nabeul in 2017, I decided to follow my passion to become a software engineer.
During my studies I had the opportunity to work on multiple technical projects which had forged my technical skills.
Soft skills are as important as technical ones, that’s why I have joined a variety of association and communities where I got to boost my soft skills. I’m currently the treasurer of DATA Co-Lab (the first tunisian lab specialised in data science) and an active member in IEEE INSAT Student Branch. I’m also passionate about hackathons. I have participated in many of them (AI Hack 2019, OpenGovDataHack2020, Digital Agriculture Hackathon, AI mini-Hackathon EPT…).
I won two of them:
● the Digital Agriculture Hackathon (organised by FAO in collaboration with Manouba Technopark – Tunisia), and I am currently working to concretise my project with the technical and financial support from the FAO and Manouba Technopark – Tunisia.
● the mini-Hackathon EPT
Presently I’m very glad that I joined TAEF program because through it I can see better future now.
And finally it’s important to mention that the quest is not over yet and the best is yet to come!
I am now a data scientist in Germany.
