Computer Science and DATA analyst
Hello! This is Sirine Gaida, a master’s student in Computer Science and Data Science at the Faculty of science of Monastir (FSM).
From an early age, I have always been deeply interested in computing thanks my high school teacher.
He invited me to his robotic club, and I found myself enjoying the time on my laptop, learning. With each passing day, I realized my curiosity about computer science and my eagerness to discover and challenge myself more in competitions and Hackathons.
After graduating in 2020 with a Baccalaureate in Mathematics, I began my journey in IT field in The Higher Institute of technological studies of Sousse. Since then, I have gained a lot of experiences that have helped me grow academically and personally.
I joined the university IT club, Google developer Student Club (GDSC club), and eventually became the Tech lead.I learned a lot from workshops, sessions, and conference, improving my coding and communication skills, also managing stress and time during 24-coding hackathons. I was also a member of the Association of Scientistic Research & Innovation in Computer Science (ARSII) where I discovered my passion for data during a machine leaning workshop guided by one of the instructors there.
Overtime, I decided to learn deeply about this field on my own, achieving it through several projects. I was extremely happy when I got accepted into the TAEF fellows program to do my PFE in artificial intelligence with “SeekMake” company where I managed to overcome difficulties and achieve an excellent grade.
Now, I have chosen to continue my master’s studies in data science and further my path in this field.I am proud to be a TAEF fellow; it has been a life-changing experience for my career, and I highly recommend it to every student seeking to enter the professional environment.
