Hello, I am Aziz Samaali, a graduate with a Master’s degree in Financial Engineering from ESPIMA Business School.

My journey through university not only equipped me with essential financial knowledge but helped me develop a deep understanding of how businesses operate, sparking my passion for interpreting data, extracting insights, and aiding in making well informed decisions.

In 2021 I had my first internship in financial auditing, where I learned how to methodically evaluate financial statements, identify anomalies, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

In 2022, I had a 3 month summer internship at KAMIOUN DISTRIBUTION as a business analyst, which was a very insightful experience that helped me learn a lot about the startup ecosystem.

I was fascinated by this innovative environment where creativity meets practicality and where you always adapt to new situations, face new challenges and adopt a refined problem-solving mindset.

In 2023, for my End Of Studies internship, I was lucky enough to be part of the TAEF  Fellows Program as a Program Operations Intern in Flat6Labs, one of the biggest Venture Capitals in the MENA region.

During this experience, I played a significant role in crafting, developing and monitoring a successful acceleration program called “Scale Up”.

Engaging deeply with every startup’s unique requirements, I actively participated in diverse advisory sessions and collaborated closely with consultants and CEOs.

This not only challenged my abilities but also exceeded my expectations, allowing me to accumulate knowledge in areas I hadn’t anticipated.

This journey paved the way for my career in management & strategy consulting at MATINE consulting. As an analyst, I play a proactive role in various projects by leveraging knowledge, analysis, and strategic thinking to solve complex business challenges.

I’m thankful to TAEF for the great experience that boosted my career and I encourage every student to seize this opportunity and become the next fellow.
