Business Analyst- Tunis Business School
Every end has a new beginning and graduation is not an end goal in itself; it is instead a part of the larger journey of life. My graduation from Tunis Business School (TBS) is just one month away. With this realization, comes both excitement and fear. Yet also a humbling contentedness for all the experiences that I have been through. I get my baccalaureate degree from a pioneer high school, where the majority of students choose to pursue their high education either in the engineering or the medical field. For my part, I opted for BUSINESS, a different path that keeps me energized and excited to grow personally and professionally.
During my university studies, I chose Business Analytics as a major and Information Technology as a minor. I also got the chance to participate in various extracurricular activities. I was an organizer of Star Works Conference, which is an entrepreneurs and investors matchmaking event. I was the administration and affairs vice president at ClubTunivisions TBS, and an event manager at TBS BILders Club. I also participated in the Hackathon and Injaz Al Arab competitions. These experiences provided me with excellent knowledge and allowed me to work with highly qualified leaders. The challenges that I faced taught me how to be resilient, manage a team, plan and organize tasks effectively.
Regarding my professional experience, I explored different business sectors through my internships including the banking sector at Banque National Agricole (BNA), finance and accounting sectors at CSM GIAS, and the marketing sector at CSM GIAS.
Finally, my last internship was with Gofield (Winshot), a mobile and CRM provider to help telcos get real-time data and analytics on point of sales performance, where I did my senior project. I am pleased that I got the chance to be a business analyst at Winshot, as part of the TAEF Fellows Program. It was a remarkable experience that taught me more about entrepreneurship and enhanced my professional skills.
I encourage every ambitious student to participate in this program.
