Hello! I am Marwa Zaghdoud,

PhD in chemistry

“Don't be pushed around by the fears in your mind. Be led by the dreams in your heart.”
Roy T. Bennett

I am a chemist and pharmacologist with a passion for improving the health and education systems in Africa. I have more than 7 years of experience working in several educational and research institutions in England, Spain, Tunisia, and many Sub-Saharan African countries such as Niger and Cameroon. In 2019 I founded a non-profit organization called Africa has a voice.

AHAV works with several medical and research schools and universities such as Saint Leonard Health and Research Foundation Cameroon, MUEPA Foundation Tanzania, Valor Mental Health Foundation Botswana, and many other schools and hospitals across Africa. I have a lot planned to rebuild the project capacity and help reach more women, children, and families in last-mile villages in Africa with primary health care including mental health, lifesaving drugs, clean water supply, and sanitation.

For this to become reality Africa has a Voice and its partners have been giving out full scholarships to train rural nurses to serve in rural settings and they are now raising funds to build primary health care facilities, boreholes, and latrines in order to reduce disease burden and also reduce the alarming rate of morbidity and mortality due to infectious diseases especially in children under the age of five years old and indeed participate in disease control, prevention, and surveillance.
