software Engineering - INSAT
I am Wael Rabah, a software engineering student at the National Institute of Applied Science and Technology (INSAT) and an aspiring future entrepreneur.
In the Baccalaureate, I managed to achieve the best GPA for the Baccalaureate in computer sciences which allowed me to pick my future path so I chose software engineering.
I have always wanted to pursue software engineering. Here I am, only one semester away from graduating and I can only say that it was not easy but anything worthwhile is not easy to achieve . Apart from Software engineering, I am an Artificial Intelligence enthusiast and
every day, I learn new things about AI and am amazed by the unlimited applications of this field.
Apart from my studies, I am part of the club IEEE Computer Society chapter and data co-lab and part of the Generation Leaders program which is an elite program started by the Beat foundation that provided me with many opportunities allowed to attend social gatherings where I was able to meet entrepreneurs and like-minded people, although I spend most of my time freelancing on Upwork where I achieved the rank of top-rated freelancer, this platform has allowed me to nurture my skills and also allowed me to meet new people from different countries and improve my
communication in foreign languages.
As for last summer, I was an intern at AI Diagnosis Vision and it was a great opportunity provided by the TAEF fellows program. In fact, working at a startup was a great way to learn about startups and the professional world. I was able to improve my skills and I hope I contributed to the development of this amazing company.
